The following points will hopefully answer any questions you may have, however, please email The Green Hare with any additional queries.

The Green Hare Candle Box is an artisan candle subscription company suppling candles handmade in Ireland, i.e, from North and South of Ireland. Each month a candle is selected to be showcased and subscribers, or the subscriber’s nominated person, will receive a candle and information about the selected candle maker. The nominated candle and candle maker remain unknown to the subscriber and is only revealed on arrival of The Green Hare Candle Box. One candle is showcased per month.

The Green Hare Candle Box will be posted on the twelfth day of each month. If the twelfth day of the month is not a postal day The Green Hare Candle Box will be posted on the first available postal day from that. Postage and packaging are included in the price (UK and Ireland).

Subscriptions to The Green Hare Candle Box can be as a standalone (for one month) or on a rolling basis.

Subscribers who enroll with The Green Hare Candle Box before or on the tenth day of each month will be included in that month’s circulation. Subscribers who subscribe on eleventh day onwards of each month will be included on the circulation list for the following month.

The Green Hare Candle Box deliveries to Ireland and the UK.

Cancellation of subscriptions can be made at any time.

Cancellation of subscriptions made five days before the twelfth day of each month will take effect for that month. Any cancellations made within five days of the twelfth day of each month the subscription will remain valid and cancelled the following month.

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with the Green Hare Candle Box’s contents please direct message the Green Hare at info@thegreenharecandlebox.com. We will endeavour to address any issues you may have.

First payment to The Green Hare takes place at the time of placing your first order. Payment for ongoing subscriptions will be charged to your account on the 7th Day of each month. Payment of gift subscriptions must be made in full at the time of purchasing.

Candles showcased with range from 250 to 300 ml depending on the elected candle maker. The burning time may range from 30 to 45 hours depending on the elected candle. Please note there may be exceptions to this as candles are handcrafted.

The featured candle and it’s container will have varying styles, colours and materials depending on the aesthetics and choices of the featured candle maker. Candles contain natural waxes and essential oils. Products are vegan.

The Green Hare Candle Box selects candles made from natural wax, free from paraffin. The Green Hare selected candles are safe to burn in your home. Paraffin is a biproduct of petroleum and sadly is found in many mass-produced candles and can be harmful to ourselves and to our immediate and wider environments. The Green Hare selected candles are free from harmful toxins, clean burning and safe for your environment.

As a business The Green Hare Candle Box is environmentally responsible and is committed to sustainability. The Green Hare itself is fully renewable, recyclable and, if littered or in landfill, is fully biodegradable within a number of months. This allows the Green Hare to support greener living. The Green Hare knows paper-based packaging is one of the most sustainable materials available and provides both a positive and direct solution to addressing climate change. The Green Hare has been locally sourced in Ireland to reduce it’s carbon footprint.

Consumers are increasingly making positive sustainability purchases and the Green Hare is aligned to this. Conscious consumerism is helping to minimise the harmful impact to our environment.
